My little Charlie guy...

Well this year, my son (20 mnts old) was old enough for me to make him a full costume for Purim.
After noticing some particular resemblances we've decided he should be Charlie Chaplin.
Chaplin is after all one of my favorite figures...

So I started by looking for some references - saw the highlights of the scenes

First I made the jacket... then the over sized crotch pants... a bought shirt (which also was made by me for the commercial baby clothing brand i used to work for ) a papillon (i know Chaplin uses a regular miss located tie but Nadavi wouldn't go for that so i used a bow) and couldn't stop there. Had to do something about his sneakers (so he would be comfortable and still era like) so i made oxford shoes cover for his Nike :)

here are the photos from the process... or as i call it THE MAKING OF CHARLIE

And then the morning came... he woke up happy and excited (i know he didn't know what to expect after all it was he's first Purim going to the kindergarten but still he was happier then any other day). So after a quick shower we started the dressing up party :)

This is it...
My little Charlie went to his party all dressed up. Had a great time
(but not as much as I did)

Field trip "החווה" the farm... with our kindergarden mates :)

On last Friday we had a field trip, our very first field trip... I've been waiting for this even before I've started waiting to become a mother  :)
We had to be at " HACHAVA" (Hebrew for the farm) a cute farm in the middle of the city (just between telaviv and ramat gan) with plantations, animals and most important green everywhere.
We had a nice guide that thought us to plant rosemarine in a pot (we lost ours ... my husband forgot to take it when we left), we made clay porcupine (this is took with me and proudly present it in our living room), afterwords we made bread from flour and water dough... yummy and the kids even got to dip it in chocolate...
and last but not list... we got to check out the animals... we saw lambs, sheep, rabbits, peacock and HEN... chickens and turkeys...
Here are some of the pictures I took and send the all of our class parents... text is in Hebrew but it says pretty much the same as I wrote here.
HACHAVA, ramat gan, Israel... very nice TO DO WITH YOUR KIDS activity
